Jon Madof is a guitarist and composer based in New York. He leads the 13-piece band Zion80 and the trio Rashanim, both on Tzadik Records. Performances include the Jewish Culture Festival (Krakow, Poland), Saalfelden Jazzfestival (Austria), Tzadik Festival (Poznan, Poland), Off New York Festival (Germany), Leipzig Jazz Festival, Glatt Und Verkehrt Festival (Austria), Washington DC Jewish Music Festival, Brooklyn Academy of Music and elsewhere in the US and Europe.

Jon has collaborated with musicians including John Zorn, Matisyahu, Marc Ribot, Frank London and many others. Press coverage includes the New York Times, NPR, Jazztimes Magazine, Israel National News and more.
